The Girlfriends is a very recent podcast that still has episodes being released. I've just caught up to the last episode and it's definitely worth a listen if you like stories about men who turn out to be killers.

This type of genre, where a woman dates a guy who turns out to not be who he said he was or has major red flags (in hindsight), I'm a sucker for. I don't know what it is, I think it's like what they say about why women like true crime so much. For a lot of women, we like listening almost as a form of education. Studying. Understanding what we should or should not do. How to stay safe. What we should look out for. And when I listen to stories about women who are manipulated or abused by men it's me trying to prevent it from happening to myself or the women I love. If I've learned anything, the BIGGEST most IMPORTANT lesson is always, always trust your gut.

The Gilfriends podcast is about a group of friends that at different times had all dated the same man. A Jewish doctor that flew planes, he wined and dined these women but it didn't take long for the red flags to show and eventually, their relationship ended but something still lingered with the women. This feeling that something wasn't quite right with the doctor. Soon they start digging into his past and find out about his ex-wife who went missing while they were married and he was the last one to see her alive after they had a fight. It's about a sister who never gave up fighting for justice for her sister, she's a real hero in this story.
