There's something about catfish stories that just always suck me in. Like a moth drawn to a flame, I have to listen! I think what I find so fascinating is the time, effort, and lengths the catfisher will go to, to keep up the facade. But NONE have quite left me as shook as Sweet Bobby.

Sweet Bobby tells the story of Kirat Assi, a woman who falls in love with a man who is hiding many many many secrets. With the help of investigative journalist Alexi Mostrous, Kirat bravely tells her story, hoping to find out who Bobby really is.

This is a 6 part series that will have you literally talking to yourself out loud and once you finish it you will be recommending it to everyone! It's one of the stories that is so unbelievable that you NEED to talk about it with someone.

While this story is CRAAZZY, Kirat is not. Without giving away any spoilers, I want to just touch on the fact that lying, coercive manipulation, and any kind of deceit do not equate to consent. Kirat is incredibly brave for telling her story and demanding answers. If you like catfish stories this one is for you. Have you listened? What did you think of the ending? What say you?
