With so many true crime podcasts out there, sometimes you need to listen to one that has a bit of humor to it. One that adds a lightness to such heavy discussions, whilst still always remaining respectful to the victim and their families.

MurderLust podcast is hosted by Ava and Amber, who tell true crime stories along with allowing listeners glimpses into their lives and adding their sense of humor in each episode. They have small moments of banter at the beginning of the episodes but then get straight to telling the story. One of the many reasons I like this podcast is that the hosts are unapologetically themselves. Describing the stories in a way that paints such a clear picture for the listener, making them say out loud "Omg that's exactly what I envisioned".

One of the other reason that makes this podcast unique is the real audio they use. I find it incredibly powerful and important to use any audio, statements, or interviews when retelling a true crime. I love that they add these in every episode. This is a new podcast that only has about 7 episodes so far, so it is easy to binge all episodes. If you are looking for a true crime podcast that will make you laugh before telling you a heavy story this is the podcast for you. Have you listened? Do you like banter between hosts? What say you?
